Ali bin Usman Hujwiri is well-known for his role in the mystic literature of Sufiyya who achieved writing Kashf-ul Mahjoub based on his knowledge of Quran and Prophet’s life and through a deep study of great Sufis. Due to the time and place of his life, and under the influence of the dominant Kalam schools, specially Ash’ariyyah, Hujwiri has had a very misled and contradictory understanding of shia and has conveyed anti- rationale and unreasonable statements about shi'ism. This study aims to review Hujwiri’s ideas on Shia through a general survey of mystical and Kalami approaches. To do this, the content will be with an intra-religious attitude and by evaluating factors analyzed like internal contradictions, contrasting Quran, tradition, and history, selection, and elimination, fanatical acceptance, or denial are parts of this systematic analysis. The authors came to the conclusion that Hujwiri, like his predecessors, had mixed right with wrong in a sophisticated way, and had a distraught attitude towards Shia. Manuscript profile

Mixed metonymy, as a figures of speech, is the result of combining metonymy with implicit metaphor or Iham. Although there are instances of this kind of metaphor in Khorasani style, and it has attracted so much attention in Iraqi and Azarbaijani styles, it has been most frequent in Hindi style; in a way that it is the most style-related figure of speech in this literary school, and hence, from a general point of view, you can not talk about Hindi literary style without considering this figure of speech and other figures close to it. The frequency of this figure of speech in Bidel’s Ghazals (1054-1132) is so much that it can be found in all his Ghazals even more than once. In this research, this figure of speech is studied in 300 Ghazals which were chosen randomly among 2900 Ghazals of Abdul-Qader Bidel Dehlavi. Using this figure of speech, Bidel related different range of words (From nature to man-made objects; from the most delicate feelings to the finest abstract concepts) to metonymies which are combined with Iham and are mostly related to human, and in this way he created novel images. The story of Siavash is one of the most tragic stories of Shahnameh which has a great potential to be studied in different ways. Furthermore, it contains some of the principal messages regarding national epic and Iranian myths, like the battle between good and evil, Iran and Aniran, fighting the dirt and filth in human soul, and etc. One of the theories that has a psychological approach to the analysis of literary works, and seems appropriate for analyzing this story is the theory of Abjection introduced by Julia Kristeva, a post-structuralist critique, based on this theory, the poet or writer projects the filth and dirt in human souls through the text. The story of Sudabeh’s sinful love, Siavash passing through fire to prove his innocence, and his tragic death in Touran are some of the obvious aspects of the story that makes the theory of abjection appropriate for the analysis of this story. Therefore, in this article, the story is analyzed focusing on the such elements of the story like Sudabeh’s love, and other events that led to his tragic death. The article tries to answer these questions: how much is the application of this theory efficient in this story? Is it possible to achieve a new analysis by applying this theory? The results are as follows: Using Kristeva’s theory of Abjection in the analysis of this story can provide us with an explanation, and a novel reading of the story from this point of view. It also provides the readers with a new judgment about Ferdowsi, the poet of the story. Manuscript profile

Metafiction is a very popular genre in Iran because of its unfamiliar nature. But a large number of texts published in Iran as Metafiction, just focus on the mefaliction form and don’t represent postmodern experiences. Novel as as a reflective media, has to be integrated with its own Zeitgeist (spirit of the times) to be able to analyze the issues of contemporary life and culture of the society. Therefore, metafictional techniques must match the postmodern concerns and current issues in the postmodern societies so that the form and content confirm and reinforce each other. In this article, Metafiction and its components have been reviewed based on theorists’ views in the field. Then, the metafiction components in “Mim-e-Aziz” have been analyzed and the postmodernist contents of this novel is explained. The results show that this novel could successfully create a coordination between content and form through combining the two categories of literary criticism and fiction, creating uncertainty, ontological content, linguistic prominence, and also paying attention to the concept of postmodern family. Different types of families have been presented in “Mim-e-Aziz” to change the concept of Nuclear Family that has been considered the only normal form of family in modernism so that the existing chaos and irregularity in contemporary society is represented. Discovering the meaning, musical and aesthetic capacity of the words and the smart use of them in the content of the text is a criterion to evaluate the poet’s mental discipline. In this article, using a descriptive – analytical method, and based on formalist criticism, the role of “word selectivity” in geometrical perfection and harmony of the poems of some of the most prominent modern poets has been studied. This research reveals that most important aesthetic functions of “word selectivity” of contemporary poetry are: spacing, creating harmony and geometry in verbal texture, creating multi-layered verbal and semantic harmonies and associations, and persuasiveness. Hereby, “word selectivity” leads to consistency in the internal structure and texture of the poem, and a perfection in the geometrical and artistic system of the poem. Manuscript profile

The cyberspace and internet have caused so many problems for the national languages and writing systems all around the world due to the extensive access and the production of large-scale writing. There are not so many researches that have published accurate information based on statistics about the status of Persian writing in different cyberspace platforms (Web, Desktop, and Mobile). In this study, through the non-probabilistic purposive sampling methods, about 8000 sentences from a corpus of 50 of the most popular databases in the country were examined in ten separate topics. The degree of deviation from Standard Persian Writing was estimated based on the "technical editing" criteria. Results show that the most common mistakes according to technical editing indexes were as follows: rules of writing (39%), punctuation (30%), word independence (22%), spacing (6%), number writing (2%), typographical or typing mistakes (1%). Finally, solutions and suggestions were made to help improve writing correctly in cyberspace. Manuscript profile

This article aims at analyzing nostalgic themes in Jalal Al-Ahmad’s stories. These themes, at first glance, mostly explain the author’s special ideology regarding the society and culture. However, in its deep structure, it reflects the intellectual author’s disappointment who is not feeling contempt about his surrounding environment, and therefore there is a kind of deep sorrow in his stories which help us to know the author better in many ways.In this paper, the major focus is on the function of the themes conveying feelings like “homesickness”, “destruction of the homeland”, “loneliness” and “sorrow” which represent author’s nostalgic point of view regarding humans and society. It should be mentioned that these themes from a theoretical point of view can be considered concepts or conceptual motifs in literary works, so can be discussed as part of the content of the work. Therefore, in the theoretical part, these concepts are explained briefly in literary studies and in the applied part, based on the definitions introduced in theoretical part, the motifs in Al-Ahmad’s works are analyzed. Defamiliarization, as the key element in literariness, has been used for analyzing poetry in formalist literary criticism. Later, it got the attention of other critics like Jakobson, Tinianov, and others. Defamiliarization and deviation from the norm are amongst the methods used by Qeysar Aminpour in his poems. In this article, various types of deviation from the norm in Qeysar’s poems are studied using a descriptive-analytic method generally based on Linch’s theory. Here, the brief analysis of his poems shows that, using defamiliarization made Aminpour's poems richer from a stylistic linguistic, and aesthetic point of view, and it has also helped the message to be conveyed in a better way. Deviation from the norms is best represented in syntactic and semantic features. Manuscript profile
