Women, as composing half of society population, have significant roles in contemporary period’s social and cultural changes and their effective presence in society is manifested in many stories. Using Descriptive-phenomenological approach, this article attempts to analyze four groups of women, i.e. traditional women, Iranian culture-advocate women, westernized women, and wandering women in five contemporary novels. Traditional women are usually those homemakers or housekeepers paying attention just to domestic matters. Iranian culture-advocate women are those involved in social and political activities outside home and consider supporting and defensing Iranian culture ideals and doctrines as their own duties. Another group, i.e. westernized women, make claims about internal matters of country, support western culture, seek basic and fundamental reformations and protest against the current situation. Wandering women are not interested in western culture and do not follow and support Iranian domestic culture, but they are wandering in-between these two cultures. Manuscript profile

Writing a novel and making a film based on scientific studies from worldwide has a long history; but this matter is often forgotten in story literature. Dissociative Identity Disorder (or DID) is a rare identity and personality disease. This sickness was foundation of writing novels and making films. “Your redness from me” Novel is one of the rare Persian novels that is written based on features and reasons of this disease. Another part of the article seeks to search for simultaneous techniques of storytelling and psychoanalysis which are used in different layers of story (association, effusion of repressed memories, and …). Obtained result shows that although author had a few scientific errors, she was so successful in storytelling and using techniques like suspense, association, narrator selection, and special language appropriate for this story and describing mentioned patient. In literature, Naturalism believes that human deeds, tendencies and thoughts are derived from inner impulses and instinctive and natural drives and desires. Based on this belief, naturalists encompass all the phenomena and events within the circle of known facts which are justifiable based on scientific principles. They emphasize such cases as heredity, environment and fate as determining factors in man’s life, and believe in an objective representation of human life and its unpleasant aspects based on direct observation and without any idealizing. They propose that as scientists of natural sciences investigate on the natural events and their relevant causes, one may do just such studies on the behavior and moods of human beings in literature. EsmailFasih is one such writer in Iranian literature in whose works traces of Naturalism can be detected. In the present dissertation, we have conducted a critical study of his major novels (KhakAshena, Sharab e Kham, Del e Koor, and AsirZaman) based on Naturalism’s percepts . Results achieved from our study have invariably proved the dominant reflection of such percepts in his works, thus proving our proposed thesis. Also of importance is the fact that heredity determinism, environment and fate are the most frequent Naturalistic parameters in Fasih’s Novels. The present study is conducted in a descriptive-analytic metod and is specially important as it is the first time that identifying naturalist parameters in the stories of Fasih hass been the subject of critical study, and he is considered as a naturalist writer. Increasing evolutions, constant change in attitudes and emergence of various literary theories in this constant renewing world has affected story literature too and caused story writers – sometimes unaware and sometimes with awareness coming from a new self-consciousness - to make their stories compatible with the condition of new world, by missing out fixed principle. Since applying the narrative method of “Death of Author” in Hiss Novel by Muhammad Reza Kateb is unforgettable in comparison with other main features of Post-modern work, this made the work to have necessary and appropriate capacities for this type of special postmodern reading. Authors of this article, using library and descriptive-analytic method, attempt to show that Hiss author, along with other postmodern techniques, uses this technique particularly with brilliant varieties and differences, and by so doing he could have introduced a masterpiece into the literary community. Kateb uses Death of Author intentionally in various forms and in different parts of this novel; he also produced suitable spaces for readers to enter into the story text along with freedom of action for story characters so that republicity of voices are clearer in his work.
