Jalal Al-Ahmed is one of the writers whose vast volume of writing is in the field of memoirs.The works of this author in many ways, including social, political and historical, are indicative of his ups and downs life. This article tries to survey the memory and types of memoirs in the works of Jalal Al-Ahmed with a descriptive-analytical method.The results of the research indicate that most of the stories of Jalal Al-Ahmad are related to the description of the author's life and personal memories. For this reason, his works can be classified as memoirs.In most cases, these stories do not proceed with a specific story coherence; Because the author sometimes interrupts the course of the story and interferes in its process with his comments; It is as if Jalal's realism has made him sometimes cross the boundaries of fantasy and enter the real world.Among Jalal Al-Ahmad's works, his travelogues and letters have a prominent place. His views in his travelogues and letters, in addition to revealing part of the author's private and family life, also give us the opportunity to take a fresh look at the political, cultural and social events of the author's era. خاطره‌پژوهی یکی از منابع الهام‌بخش تحقیق در حوزۀ تاریخ‌نگاری است. همچنین ابزاری برای انتقال تجربه‌ها، آداب، رسوم و مناسک دینی و ملی جوامع به نسل‌های آینده به‌شمار می‌آید. از طرف دیگر، بیان‌کنندة عواطف و احساسات فردی، قومی و ملی در برابر‌ حوادث و رویدادهاست. حجم وسیعی از نویسندگی جلال آل احمد در عرصة خاطره‌نگاری است. آثار این نویسنده از جهات متعددی، از جمله اجتماعی، سیاسی و تاریخی، گویای زندگی پر فراز و نشیب اوست. این مقاله درصدد است تا با روشی توصیفی- تحلیلی، خاطره و انواع خاطره‌نگاری را در آثار جلال آل احمد بکاود. نتایج‌ تحقیق حاکی از‌ آن است که اغلب داستان‌‌های جلال‌آل‌احمد، در‌ شرح زندگی، حسب‌حال و حدیث‌نفس نویسنده است که از این جهت، در ‌زمرة خاطره‌نگاری قرار می‌گیرد. در اغلب این داستان‌ها، حادثة داستانی با روانی و یکدستی و انسجام خاص داستانی پیش نمی‌رود؛ چرا که نویسنده گاه و بی‎گاه با اظهار نظر‌های خویش، سیر داستانی را قطع و در روند آن دخالت می‌کند؛ گویی واقع‌گرایی جلال باعث شده که گاه مرز‌های خیال را درنوردد و به عالم واقع ورود کند. در میان آثار جلال‌آل ‌احمد، سفرنامه‌‌ها و نامه‌‌های او، از جایگاهی برجسته برخوردار است. آرای او در سفرنامه‌‌ها و نامه‌هایش، علاوه بر آشکارکردن بخشی از زندگی خصوصی و خانوادگی این نویسنده، به ما فرصت نگاه جدید به رویداد‌های سیاسی، فرهنگی و اجتماعی عصر نویسنده را نیز می‌دهد. http://literature.ihss.ac.ir/fa/Article/Download/21062
