Fictions are defined as the works composed in animals’ tongue or in the form of syllabic verses aimed at amusing children. It might consists of the life stories of the poets, mystics and … which gradually developed and stipulated in memories books and other works with decorated prose. Fictions show the ups and downs of the poets’ life and their various literature, spirit, moral and thought dimensions. This article analyses and critics the main features of fictions from different dimensions in addition to defining the fictions. The present study can be applied in different sciences such as literature history, stylistics, literary criticism, figures of speech, and rhetoric and also it clarifies the unclear points in the literature history and reveals the details of the mentioned sciences. در كنار «انواع ادبي» جديد، همانند «رمان» و «داستان»، « افسانه»‌ها (قصه‌ها، سرگذشت‌ها، حكايت‌ها و...) را مي‌توان از انواع ادبي گذشته‌ تاريخ ادب فارسي به حساب آورد.« افسانه»‌ها به آثاري اطلاق مي‌شود كه از زبان حيوانات يا به صورت اشعار هجايي براي سرگرمي اطفال سروده شده است. يا متضمّن سرگذشت اشخاص واقعي همچون شاعران، عارفان و ... بوده است كه رفته‌رفته، شاخ و برگ گرفته و با نثري آراسته در خلال كتب تذكره و آثار ديگر درج شده‌اند و فراز و فرود زندگي شاعران و ابعاد گونه‌گون ادبي، فكري، روحي و اخلاقي آنها را نشان مي‌دهند. در اين مقاله، علاوه بر اشاره به تعاريف افسانه، ويژگي‌هاي اساسي آن از جهات مختلف نقد و تحليل شده است. اين تحقيق در دانش‌هايي مانند تاريخ ادبيات، سبك‌شناسي، نقد ادبي، معاني، بيان و بديع كاربرد دارد و نقاط مبهم و تاريك تاريخ ادبيات را روشن و جزئيات علوم مذكور را بيان مي‌كند. http://literature.ihss.ac.ir/fa/Article/Download/10183
