Using such method, this paper is intended to study the poem Peygham-e Mahiha (The Message of the Fishes) aimed at showing the fact that analysis of speech can lead to understanding the literary works profoundly. To achieve such an aim, we have described and interpreted the text, its objective, and its intrapersonal structure by studying the exact word frequency in details, based on which tables have been drawn. The results reveal that this poem enjoys a dynamic and changing atmosphere and its narrative structure is regarded as its main elements for coherence. The words employed, also reveal that the poet had a strong tendency toward nature. The processes of the poem lack human partnership, and thus symbols of the poem’s loneliness and Sepehri’s decisiveness reflects his strong belief in his speech and strength of his speech. Such a speech influences the degree of speech effectiveness. سخن کاوی یا تحلیل گفتمان نوعی مطالعۀ میان رشته‌ای است که به تجزیه و تحلیل کلام می‌پردازد. در این مقاله شعر «پیغام ماهی‌ها»ی سپهری با این شیوه بررسی شده است تا نشان داده شود تحلیل گفتمان می‌تواند منجر به خوانش عمیق آثار ادبی شود. برای رسیدن به این هدف با بررسی دقیق بسامدی واژگان و رسم جدول‌هایی به توصیف و تفسیر ساخت متنی، اندیشگانی و بینافردی این شعر پرداخته شده است. نتیجۀ بررسی‌ها نشان مي‌دهد که این شعر دارای فضایی پویا و متحرّک است و ساختار روایی آن از مهم‌ترین عوامل انسجام آن به شمار می‌رود. واژگان به کار رفته نیز گویای علاقۀ شاعر به طبیعت است. فرایندهای فعلی شعر نيز که فاقد مشارکت انسانی‌اند، نشانی از تنهایی شاعر است و ساخت وجهی شعر سپهری، از اعتقاد عمیق او به سخنانش و قطعیّت کلام او حكايت مي‌كند این گونه سخن گفتن بر میزان اثرگذاری کلام می‌افزاید. http://literature.ihss.ac.ir/fa/Article/Download/10149
