The care for the poets and writers from the literary kings and princes caused the promotion of Persian Language in the territory. Abolfazl Kamal al-Din Hayati Gilani was one of the famous poets of the late 10th and the early 11th centuries. He was introduced to the Gourkanian court by Abolfath Gilani. There, he acquired a lot of respect. His Mathnavi-e Soleiman va Belqeis which is a meritorious work in lyric literature, has already been ignored. In this work, Hayati focuses on Quran's abbreviation in telling the prophets' stories. This lyric- religious Mathnavi is of high value due to the poet's focus on the prophets' chastity, not including Israiiliat, referring to the resources unavailable today, and the linguistic properties, as well. The present article reviews the poet's works first, and then his Mathnavi-e Soleiman va Belqeis , contrasting it with some of the books on history, (Quran) interpretation and the prophets' stories. دوران حکومت گورکانیان، از پر بارترین اعصار برای زبان و ادب فارسی است. عنایت پادشاهان و شاه‌زادگان ادب دوست این سلسله به شعرا و نویسندگان، موجب ترویج زبان فارسی در آن دیار بود. ابوالفضل کمال‌الدین حیاتی گیلانی از شاعران مشهور اواخر قرن ده و اوایل قرن یازده هجری است. با کمک ابوالفتح گیلانی به دربار گورکانیان معرّفی می‌گردد و در نزد آنان منزلت فراوانی به دست می‌آورد. مثنوی سلیمان و بلقیس حیاتی یکی از آثار مهم در ادبّیات عاشقانۀ فارسی است که تاکنون محققان بدان توجه نكرده‌اند. حیاتی در این مثنوی ایجاز‌گویی قرآن در بیان سرگذشت پیامبران را مدّ نظر قرار داده است. این مثنوی عاشقانه ـ دینی از حیث توجّه شاعر به عصمت انبیاء، بر کنار بودن از اسرائیلیات، فواید لغوی و زبانی و بهره‌گیری از منابعی که امروزه بدان‌ها دسترس نداریم قابل توجّه است. این مقاله نخست به بررسی آثار شاعر و پس از آن به تحقیق در مثنوی سلیمان و بلقیس و تطبیق آن با برخی کتب مهمّ تاریخی، تفسیری و قصص الانبیاء می‌پردازد. http://literature.ihss.ac.ir/fa/Article/Download/10098
