Moreover, it is considered to review some related topics such as language, character, narrator, the point of view, the structure chain and plot, theme, setting and time. As a result, the whole book considered as a long story with numerous characters promoting the events. The structure of the sentences and its style of writing are uncomplicated and technical simultaneously. Furthermore, 45 characters with usually proper names play a role in the narrative, while most of them are magicians and fairies (24.30 %) or women and girls (22.2 %). The narrator, additionally, is unclear and vague, so the story is narrated in the third person point of view. The paper aims to study the story based on the 31 acts which mentioned by Propp and also considering his classification in 6 stages, including preparation, complication, transference, struggle, return, recognition. In more details, the time of the narrative is unclear; some of the locations are realistic, while some of them virtual, such as China, India, Mecca, Sham, Egypt and Morocco. مقاله حاضر به مطالعه و تحلیل داستان مهر و ماه می‌پردازد. علاوه بر طرح مباحثی دربارة این داستان، پیشینه و روایت‌های دیگری از آن، به پژوهش ریخت‌شناسانه ساختار داستان و عناصر آن توجه شده و مباحثی مانند زبان، شخصیت، راوی و زاویة دید، ساختار زنجیره‌ای داستان، بن‌مایه‌ها، زمان و مکان در آن بررسی شده است. سراسر کتاب را یک داستان بلند در برگرفته و شخصیت‌های متعددی در پیشبرد رویدادها درگیرند. نثر این اثر گاهی ساده و گاهی فنی و مسجع می‌شود. در این داستان از 45 شخصيت استفاده شده که غالباً با نام خاص از آنها یاد می‌شود. بيشترين شخصيت‌ها را جادوان و پریان(5/24 درصد) و زنان و دختران (2/22درصد) تشكيل داده‌اند. راوی داستان نامعلوم و مبهم است. زاویة دید داستان، سوم شخص یا دانای کل است. کارکردهای سی و یک گانة مورد نظر پراپ را در این داستان می‌توان دید و آن را مي‌توان در شش مرحلة وضعیت آغازین، پیچیدگی مسئله، انتقال، ستیز، بازگشت و به رسمیت شناخته شدن دسته‌بندی كرد. الگوی روایی داستان بدین قرار است: α γ φ δ β ↑ ε λ F A C λ E G G K D H F C B E B O λ H K M Ex φ Pr U K E Pr O T L K W QN I Rs ↓ شخصیت‌های داستان را نیز می‌توان از منظر پراپ در هفت حوزة کنش متمایز کرد. حوادث خارق‌العاده از عناصر اصلی این داستان است که به همراه جادوان و پریان روایت را پیش می‌برد، زمان، طبق روال داستان‌های سنتی نامعلوم و کلی است. مکان‌هاي شکل‌گیری داستان برخی واقعی و برخی خیالی‌اند و از چین، هند، مکه، شام و مصر تا مغرب را در بر می‌گیرند. http://literature.ihss.ac.ir/fa/Article/Download/10000
