Their folkloric works are rich and reflective of their beliefs. So far, there have been various approaches to the study of folklore, each focusing on different aspects such as content, structure, style, language, and so on. The present article studies “the unity of form and content” in popular tales, concentrating on two of them, chosen from Jame’ al-Hekayat. Its main purpose, which distinguishes it from the previous researches on the subject, is to find the relationship between content and form, the way they match in the course of a tale, the process of forming a tale, and the elements involved in forming the Iranian ancient tales. مردم ايران زمين، مردمي با فرهنگ و سنن ريشه‌دار و کهن هستند. آثار فرهنگ عوام ايرانيان، آثاري است غني و پربار که بازگو کننده بسياري از اعتقادات و باورهاي آنهاست. تاکنون از ديدگاه‌هاي مختلفي به فرهنگ عوام نگريسته‌اند و آثار ادبي آن را از جنبه‌هاي گوناگون مانند محتوا، ساختار، سبک، زبان و ... مورد بررسي قرار داده‌اند. در نوشتار حاضر با تأکيد بر دو قصه از مجموعه جامع الحکايات، قصه‌هاي شايع در ميان اهالي فرهنگ و گاه عموم مردم را با توجه به اصل "وحدت محتوا و صورت" بررسي کرده‌ايم. اصلي‌ترين هدف ما در اين مقاله- که روش کار را از تحقيقاتي از اين دست متمايز مي‌کند- بررسي چگونگي ارتباط محتوا و صورت است؛ اينکه در طول داستان، محتوا و صورت چگونه يکديگر را تکميل مي‌کنند و چه فرايندي رخ مي‌دهد تا داستاني شکل بگيرد و چه عناصري در شکل‌گيري حکايت قديمي ايراني موثر است. http://literature.ihss.ac.ir/en/Article/Download/10063
