But a large number of texts published in Iran as Metafiction, just focus on the mefaliction form and don’t represent postmodern experiences. Novel as as a reflective media, has to be integrated with its own Zeitgeist (spirit of the times) to be able to analyze the issues of contemporary life and culture of the society. Therefore, metafictional techniques must match the postmodern concerns and current issues in the postmodern societies so that the form and content confirm and reinforce each other. In this article, Metafiction and its components have been reviewed based on theorists’ views in the field. Then, the metafiction components in “Mim-e-Aziz” have been analyzed and the postmodernist contents of this novel is explained. The results show that this novel could successfully create a coordination between content and form through combining the two categories of literary criticism and fiction, creating uncertainty, ontological content, linguistic prominence, and also paying attention to the concept of postmodern family. Different types of families have been presented in “Mim-e-Aziz” to change the concept of Nuclear Family that has been considered the only normal form of family in modernism so that the existing chaos and irregularity in contemporary society is represented. ژانر فراداستان در ایران به جهت ماهیت آشنازدای آن، مورد اقبال فراوان است. اما حجم وسیعی از متونی که تحت عنوان فراداستان در ایران منتشر می‌شوند، تنها به فرم می‌پردازند، و از بازنمایی تجربههای پسامدرن تهی‌اند. رمان به مثابه رسانة بازتاب‌دهندة جامعه باید با روح زمانة خود عجین باشد تا معضلات زندگي معاصر و فرهنگ جامعه را هشیارانه بکاود؛ لذا شگردپردازیهای فراداستانی باید با دغدغه‌های پسامدرنیسم و مسائل مطرح در جامعة پسامدرن هماهنگ باشد تا قالب و محتوا در تأیید و تقویت یکدیگر متنی تأثیرگذار خلق کنند. در اين مقاله ابتدا مروری بر فراداستان و مهمترين مؤلفههاي آن بر مبنای دیدگاه‌های نظریه‌پردازان فراداستان صورت گرفته است، سپس مؤلفههای فراداستان در رمان «میم عزیز» بررسی و تحلیل شده است. در ادامه، محتوای پسامدرنیستی رمان نیز تشریح شده است. بررسی‌های مقاله نشان می‌دهد که این رمان به لحاظ درآمیختن دو مقولة نقد ادبی و داستانپردازی، ایجاد عدم قطعیت، محتوای وجودشناسانه، برجستگی زبانی و همینطور پرداختن به مفهوم خانوادة پسامدرنیستی به خوبی توانسته مضمون و محتوا را با ساختار و فرم داستان هماهنگ کند. در «میم عزیز»، شکلهای متنوع خانواده به تصویر کشیده شده‌اند تا مفهوم خانوادة هستهای که پیشتر در مدرنیسم به عنوان تنها شکل بهنجار خانواده مطرح شده بود، نسبی گردیده و بینظمی و آشفتگی خانوادهها در جامعة معاصر نمایانده شود. http://literature.ihss.ac.ir/fa/Article/Download/10560
